Clay lube or QD... What is best for claying?

6 of one 1/2 dozen of another, both effective
 
Clay Lube. Quick detailer. Car shampoo.

They all effectively do the same thing, provide lubricity and not let the clay stick to the paint. Use what you have. There is no need to get a specific product just for claying your car.
 
Dp Clay Lube or ONR ... both seem to work equally well.
 
ONR is a must have product that will make a great clay lube and a good QD. Using a top tier QD for a clay lube is not cost effective IMO. Buy a gallon of ONR or DP Rinseless instead of a dedicated clay lube.
