This was done in the past Sunday, and I almost forgot to do a write up :o.
I was meant to do a wash clay POLISH and wax on my car, but day light savings KILLED me and it was getting dark by the time I wanted to start the polishing step :(. I have no shop lights and the garage lights are dim. I ended up just doing a clay and wax. I am doing a small review of XMT Glaze and Diamondite Glass cleaner that Ong~Bak sent to me to try out(Thank you again!). He also sent me 106FF which I wanted to try out but then the lack of lighting screwed me over. Also, Surf City Garage Tech kindly sent me Nano Seal, Nano Glaze, and Hot Rod Detailer to try out (Another thank you :)).

Products used:

Two bucket method with 2 grit guards in mitt rinse bucket
DP 4 in 1 (wash and clay lube)
Surf City Nano Detail Mitt
Riccardo Clay
Cobra Guzzler
Cobra edgeless MF (teal)
Cobra Jr
Excel Detail MFs: Blue Supreme, Titan Jr, Erasure
Passenger side LSP: Surf City Sealant (without Nano glaze)
Driver Side prep+LSP: XMT Glaze, used Pete's 53 on hood, and did the rest of
driver's side with SIgnature Series II for KT (Pirex) :p.
Surf City Hot Rod Detailer to help me buff off the sealant

Now the review!

XMT Glaze: I couldn't tell the difference in the looks, due to the lack of lighting in the garage. It made the paint nice and smooth to make wax easier to apply. I love the feel of it after application. To me it feels like P21S paint work cleanser when I run my fingers over the paint. It's an easy product to use. I used it with the UDM and blue pad, working with it at speed 5 spreading it around evenly, then applied it to the next area. Once I applied it over the driver's half of the car, I buffed it off starting from the first area I applied it on. I still need to test it out to give my final thoughts.

Diamondite Glass Cleaner: I've been using stoner's, but I like this glass cleaner as well. Streak free and it makes the glass look nice and invisible. I haven't tested it on DIRTY windows, but I will soon. I haven't tested it in the sun either. So far, I like this glass cleaner but it's not enough for a final thought.

Surf City Nano Seal: This smelled almost exactly like the Pacific Blue Wash n Wax. It was actually hard to buff off the sealant, but I need to give it a fair try again. I should have left it on longer (maybe an hour). I used the Hot Rod detailer to help me buff it off. There was no initial slickness, but the next day it felt nice and slick. I will have to follow up on the durability and take pictures of the beading when I do the next wash this week. I haven't topped it with the Nano Glaze because I wanted the sealant to cure first.

Hot Rod Detailer: This stuff smells like bubblegum! It said it has UV protective properties. I have no way to test that. Maybe I should use it as a sunblock :p. It's a nice QD to wipe off light dust. I also used it around the house and it left a nice slick surface on windows/mirrors and on the car's paint.

Thanks for your review of products. And for the time to make this post.

Thanx for the review and pics, I guess XMT glaze has a more dramatic look when used on a dark color.

Hey Klumzy - What did you think of the SC mitt? I have been thinking about ordering one of those.

When I encounter an lsp that is tough to get off I avoid using anything with cleaners in it as it will remove some of the uncured lsp... In the future you may want to use OCW or AW depending on if you want to use a nuba or sealant.

The hot rod detailer in my opinion is a top notch QD... I have been using fk425 and in my opinion SC SD provides as much slicker finish product with equal cleaning ability.. As a matter of fact I should put a review of SC SD that I wrote here on AG...

Thanks for sharing!

Still looks pretty damn good, when you have more time
get to it ! :D

HighEndDetail: You're welcome! I hope this review helps out some people.

Bonifax: You're welcome! I believe the XMT Glaze will be better on dark colors as well.

MotorCity: This is the only Microfiber mitt I have. I actually like it a lot. The only small down side is it loves to keep stains, but that doesn't mean it's dirty :o. So far there hasn't been any grit that gets stuck in the fibers. If there was, I just had to rub it against the grit guard and it's off! Oh yeah, thanks for the tip! I hope I didn't take off any of the protection with the Hot Rod detailer lol. Yeah I like the Hot Rod compared to Meguiar's QD and DP four in one mix in terms of leaving a slick surface. I haven't tried many QDs, just Hot Rod, Meguiar's, and DP four in one. I can't tell if it's streaking on the paint since it's a light color, but I notice no streaking on glass which is nice. I based the streaking off of that.

Thrland: Thanks a lot :D. Hope it helped!

Ong~Bak: Haha thanks! I seriously wasn't satisfied right after I was done but changed my mind next day :p. I really want to get to some polishing :D!
