I have been usiing Tide and similar products to wash my cloths. Most of them retain stains after washing. Not really heavy stains, but stains non the less.

My questions is are the special cleaning formulas you guys sell do any better?

If i purchase cleaning material from you, can I return it for a refund if it does preform?

Thanks

i use blackfire, its the best! rids stains, and gives the towels so much extra life

Micro restore & Griot's are both great detergents for mircofiber.

made a video for this as I've seen it asked quite a few times:

So, I guess the answer is that if the cloth is really dirty, it will have stains after washing?

They don't call em stains for nothing ;)

It will not hinder performance at all so nothing to worry about.

If you have a nice towel with a stain (probably not worth the hassle for a cheap one), I've found a way to pretty much get rid of almost all but the worse stains.

Get some Blackfire Pad Cleaner spray and spray the stain on the towel liberally. Let it soak for a minute. Then, get a pad cleaning brush, like the kind that is designed to fluff up the fibers on microfiber pads. Scrub the towel on the stain with the brush. You would think it would mess up and cause "pulls" in the towel, but it doesn't. Do this a few times and the re- wash. Most of the time, stain is gone and towels look great.

OxiClean is the only thing that worked for me, soak the microfiber in a bucket of water mixed with OxiClean for a few hours, and watch the stains disappear...

I like to thank everyone for their response to my inquirey.

Have a great day.

I want to know more about this static charge lol.
I put my towels on low heat right before air drying option.
I pull them out some are stuck together with static.

Hello.
New guy to car care and a lurker here. I didn't say new to detailing because I'm not that good...yet. That's why I'm here :props:

Question #1 ~ I thought I read a benefit to microfiber is that they are statically charged which attracks dust?

Question #2 ~ if microfiber is a synthetic fiber, how can the color bleed/transfer if the color is built in (for lack of a better term) Or are we worried they may dyed at some point in time between manufacturing and purchase?

Thanks and keep on keeping on...

Thanks , But this is no better of a result than I generally get with house hold detergent.

In the first part of the video, around 0:25, that's exactly what I said. But the ease of use compared to detergent (and some people like using vinegar as well) is what makes it better.... and on some of the tougher stains, I've had trouble taking them out with detergent, but were no problems for a microfiber cleaner.

You can get perfect wax beading and protection with a $20 paste wax from meguiars or mothers.... but people will pay much much more for other paste waxes for ease of use.

I suppose substituting any APC for BF Pad Cleaner would probably have the same effect.

Careful with that if you have a HE washer.

For anyone wondering, all MF detergents can be used in HE machines.

I used to be a tide believer, until I used an MF detergent.

I've been working on a bottle of Pinnacle Micro Rejuvenate. The towels come out extremely fluffy and residue free. I will most likely try Blackfire next due to the multitude of positive results. I never worry about stains on my nice towels since they don't see "dirty jobs". It is acceptable for my el cheapos to have some stains.

I found by tossing in a couple of tennis balls and/or some "Dryer Magic/Dryer Fluff Balls" will help to keep the towels somewhat separated.
