Hi guys

Would love some help on how I can remove water mark like stains from B pillar vinyl door trim and and what looks to be oxidised weather strips on the outside of the doors.

I tried using Optimum Power Clean which lifted off the majority of the surface dirt, but it has still left the stains/marks behind.

Any hints or tips on how I can get these cleaned up and looking like new again?

Are the B pillars textured, smooth and matte, or smooth and shiny?

A picture please and what is the material and finish of the B pillar?

As noted above, we need a little more info about the nature of the surface.

For example ... if it's a smooth metal surface (ex. painted metal, piano black, etc.), I'd hit it with Blackfire One Step.

If it's a textured plastic surface, I'd try a wax remover product or APC (light to med strength) + brush, followed up with something like Wolfgang WETS or Solution Finish if you have a lot of fading.

Thanks guys.

The B pillar trims are a matt finish.

I believe they are vinyl covered, car is a Hyundai Veloster N.

I would try OPT Hyper Polish or McKee’s paint prep polish by hand.

How would a magic eraser go to help prep and clean the surface?

A few YouTube videos recommend this and come up with great results.

I would have to assume while abrading the surface with the Mr. Eraser there is some sort of polishing ingredient at work. Not sure but it definitely helped. Only time will tell for how long.
