Cleaning behind license plate without removing it

I always hated not being able to get the area adjacent to the license plate clean. It also trapped wool strands from my CarPro Merino Wash Mitt.

I added rubber grommets behind my license plate to hold it away from the vehicle










The grommets are from Home Depot.

A couple of bucks for four.

The ones I used are 3/10ths of an inch tall. They have different sizes



These license plate screw covers are also a nice dress-up touch. Also from Home Depot
