I just recently bought Simple Green Max. Just wondering if i can use this to clean the car's interior carpet? Should i just buy the APC Simple green offers? The cap has not been opened so i can still return it.

What is simple green max? You can use the Simple Green APC but I would dilute it in a spray bottle first. BTW, I hate the smell of simple green, reminds me of my first JOB!! :(
Process for cleaning carpets
Vacuum THOROUGHLY, spray APC or cleaner, agitate, let it dwell for a little, vacuum dry and repeat on stains that were not removed.

Justin uses Purple Power I believe. This is pretty serious stuff, stronger then Simple Green Id imagine. But he pressure washes the mat first, then sprays on the Purple Power full strength, its already diluted because the mat is soaked. Then he agitates it Id assume and pressure washes it again.

I would stick with the regular simple green. You might want to take the link down.. they don't really want links to other places. Where are you buying this? Do they have a product called FOLEX? It is a spot/stain remover and would work better than APC I think.

I thought folex was used for stains. What if i wanted to give the whole carpet a small wash?

You can use it for the whole carpet. Dilute it if you feel it is too powerful for general cleaning, and then use it full strength on stains.

For full carpet I recommend DP total interior cleaner.

The center console was not cleaned yet. As you can see it got the majority of the stuff out. It probably would of gotten more out with another pass with the PC carpet brush. It does a GREAT job on light to moderate stains, but for VERY heavy stains you might need something with a little more power. But the DP cleaner is the only carpet stuff Ive used that doesnt require a rinse, and doesnt dry leaving the carpet with a sticky soapy feeling. It smells really good too!

BTW, this is a 93 Lexus. As you can see the stains are under the seat. So that has probably been there for YEARS.

That is NASTY! I have DP carpet cleaner and that works well. If you can buy online OP, do that and get some DP.

I have found an inexpensive, yet very effective cleaner - Meguiar's APC+.
Works very well dilluted 10:1.

Man that is just sick, i wish i could get the stains out of my carpet it looks like someone got bleech on them, my car was rebuilt.... all i did was spend the 100 and whatever and got new honda matts... Great work though

Those are some disgusting carpets! What the heck happened in that car anyway?? It looks like a crime scene! The DP really made a big difference!

I really like Folex alot too. You just spray on rub in with your fingers and sop up the excess with a towel. Bye bye dirt and stains. :)

it shows that it is used for the cyclo. Would it work for the pc?

Yup, I believe it mentions on the brush page that it'll attach to the PC.

Hahaha, yes those carpets were pretty gross. Now Im embarrassed to tell you whose car that is, its my girl friends and man did it need it. It was her moms before she got it, so it was pretty much years and years of coffee stains. But the majority of them came out.

Those brushes are a must have though. I used them on the center console and got EVERYTHING out, it looks brand new. Also the arm rests are very clean. You know all that crap on the arm rests and steering wheel is actually dead skin, how sick is that! Well the DP cleaner paired with the PC brushes got the majority of the crap out. Im going to order the Grey Ultra Soft Upholstery brush so I can use it on leather also.
