Cleaning diamond plate tool box

Any recommendations on cleaning a diamond plate tool box? Local Carquest recommended DG #851 but after testing a small spot it looks like someone spilt milk on it and its very hazy. AG site says DG #831 is for diamond plate but the bottle at Carquest says not for highly polished aluminum. Advice needed.....thanks.

You might want to double check because my DG #831 says it's for highly polished aluminum/metals. Also, milky/cloudy sounds like the metal might be coated so take care.

i have used OO steel wool and a good metal polish/cleaner and the steel wool really made short work of it.

my two cents worth!
