Hi new member here with a question, I have a black fabric convertible that I cleaned with what I thought was a microfiber towel. It ended up leaving a ton of white fibers on it. After about a week I ordered the 303 top cleaning kit off here thinking that would do the trick. I used the included brush to scrub it while dry to try and get as much of the fibers off as possible. A good amount did come up, I then wet it, scrubbed it again and used the cleaner. There are still a decent amount. This should be simple but I'm stumped what to do here to get it back to black.

Thanks

I not sure why that's happening but I only use one brand on convertible tops and that RaggTopp products they are the best.

Get a 3M tape lint roller from the pet store. Roll it over the top like you are removing lint. It works wonders.

I was going to recommend the same thing. Years ago when my Cobra had to be parked outside the neighbors white and orange long hair cat thought it was a hammock. After fighting trying to get it off I remembered my lint roller I use on my dress blue uniform. Works like a champ!

Hi, I just finished detailing a Mini Cooper convertible. The car was kept in a garage but the guy had a radial saw, was using it, and got sawdust all over the car. The first thing I did was vacuum the top. I used a stiff brush to get the dust up and out of the fabric. Next I washed the top, used a little GG cleaner for a few stains and blotted the top dry with a synthetic chamois. Turned out great.
