Cleaning/Removing a *Hard Rubbed Rubber Stain*

Hit a pothole on a low pro setup.
Luckily wheel checks out and just 2 bubbled tires the following day.
We shall see how she spins when @ tire shop getting new rubber mounted.

Right where the wheel lip edge and rubber made full on *pothole contact* and the tire rubbed *Hard* against this surface....
I haven't tried tarminator but this is probably my next step
What is the least aggressive *chem* you would try to remove rubbed rubber on metal
 
I haven't experienced a tire rub, but when I autocross I'll occasionally get rubber transfer from hitting a cone at speed.

You can try Tarminator, but Griots Garage Track Spray should work too. The Griots stuff is made to remove scuffs from cones and tire rubber splatter from track days/racing. I've used the Track Spray with great success on wheels and body panels.

I had no idea Mothers made something like that. Looks to be a direct competitor to the Griots product.
