Cleaning wheelnut recesses. What works?

What are your favorite ways of cleaning the wheel-nut recesses of you rims?

My 2013 Mercedes Benz C350 has recessed nuts and there isn't much space between nut and rim (enough for a socket!) and I don't want to buy an expensive brush that won't fit in there.

Can't link to a competitor's site, but I typically use the ATLASTA soft-tip detailing brush. It's actually my favorite all-around brush, and have two of them - one for interiors, one for wheels.

KB - I had a Corvette too - an '04 C5 - for five years. I sure would like one of the new ones.

How do you clean around the lug nuts with that?

Wouldn't it be easier to use a lug nut brush that can get to the entire area on the sides of the nut? Seems like that tool would leave brake dust behind still.

I bought one of those a while back. Didn't seem to fit into the lug holes of any wheels I owned very well. Might work better on a truck?

Ive used them on my aftermarket wheels on my Bonneville, my Formula, Toyota Camry/Corollas, Vovlo XC60, Trucks, Saturn Ion, '14 Pathfinder, Imprezza, Camaro SS 02, plenty of cars. There was one car that it didnt work on but I cant remember which it was.
