Hello,
I was presented with a McLaren that had what looks to be a rubber etch into the clear bra. Claying did nothing, tried buffing with GG correcting cream and nothing came out. Will it need a new clear bra? View attachment 55066

Try really hot water to make the Clearbra soft then try a non abrasive polish.Had a client with a new vw with suntek on the hood.she went to Pronto car wash in Tampa and the screwed it up with a bug sponge and put scratches in the clearbra.she boiled a cup of hot water and poured it over the damaged area.I then took my ibrid with a yellow pad and some menzerna sp3800 and got it to where it's barely seen.

This:
Mothers R3 Racing Rubber Remover, rubber scuff remover, boot scuff eraser

Or this:
PF1 T.T.R. (Tire.Tar.Rubber.)

Looks like it should come right off with pretty much anything like xenit. Is it gouged or scraped with that abrasion transfer in it?.

Hairspray should quickly and safely remove that.

Do you know the brand and their specific product? Most PPF's are made up of multiple layers and it has likely gone through the initial top gloss layers. Could be that the materials is embedded in the Urethane Substrate layers or even the adhesive layer. The manufacturer might be able to offer some suggestions.

Could not figure out the brand. There were no stickers for it either. I've ordered the mothers rubber remover and should arrive end of this week.

Do you have any Tar-X? There are a couple Vipers here that I maintain for a local race team that always come back from the track with massive amounts of tar/rubber all over. In my experience Tar-X has worked great to remove all the contamination and doesn't damage any of the decals or paint protection film.

Looks like the clear bra did its job protecting the paint. Since you have tried several products/methods to remove the scuff, I agree with pdqgp, time to replace.
