Good day everyone, does anyone know how to get rid of cloudy spots (oxidization i beleive or maybe something else) on a truck camper fiberglass exterior walls?
The camper is a 2007 Lance 815. When e purchased it I don't believe it had ever been detailed short of a wash and maybe a wax.
There was a bit of oxidization so I tried to polish it out with a Maguiar MT300 8mm throw using an Orange LC CCS Smart pad and Maguiar Mirror Glaze #49 Oxidation Remover Heavy Duty Cleaner. All the raised fiberglass fibers are nice and shiny but the cloudyness remains in the low spots as if the pad was just gliding over the fibers.
Note: The TC was prep'd washed, dried and clayed before using the #49.
The defects are somewhat difficult to see without proper lighting and angle. So at first glance it looks good but....
Should I bring out the wool pad and get a little more aggresive? I don't have a paint gauge yet so I was pretty gentle.
Any thoughts or how to would be greatly appreciated
Thank you
