I have a few questions regarding doing a ceramic coating on a tow truck, if you can provide any feedback on any of the questions, please do so. And for that, i thank you in advance!

- the truck has NO decals on it yet, should it get coated before the decals?
- what specific info should be told to the decal installer?

now, the final question followed by a short explanation-
- what would YOU charge to coat a flatbed tow truck? cab/roof/wheels/two tool box doors.

i dont need an exact price, but a rough estimate, and please include what your starting price would be for a brand new car with wheels so i can gauge the price difference.
this job is very unique being how it's my land lords truck. i have a VERY unique deal with my shop space, without getting into too many details- i pay based off how much work i do, and this space would easily fetch 3k+ a month.

we have already discussed a price, but i'd like to see what others would price this at to a normal customer.

thank you in advance for any input! i will upload a quick picture in a minute.

As mentioned, get the decals installed first. This way you can seal the decals in.

I do the same with painting. Get the stickers/decals on and then spray the clear over them. Make sense?

Pricing is really unique here. Only you can determine that with the landlord.

so i'd want to do the wash/decon, then have decals installed, then continue on with the coating?

yes the pricing is very unique, because he wants to see me be able to get things going and not having to worry about huge overhead just starting out, but doesn't want me to work for free. but definitely would like some input as to pricing that others would charge for a normal customer with this vehicle/job.

thank you Mike, and busy mind!

Exactly. Remember the polishing step. Also check for any marring or scratches where the decals are.

I would probably be in the $300-400 range for him.
