colinite 845 on headlights?

anybody try this? I have been using megs ultimate detailer on my lenses want something better to use any thoughts on this?Feed back please

I do it all the time. Before I switched to 845, I put Klasse SG on my headlights. I also apply it to the tail and fogs.

I've found they don't get as dirty when the water beads and rolls off with the wind flowing over them. That's very handy in the winter when road grime and salt can cover your headlights and make them almost worthless.

I could be wrong, but I think covering the lights with a durable wax or sealant makes it easier to wash off the bugs as well.

Well here are my thoughts:

I don't see why not. When I do headlight restoration and they don't want to opti lens the headlights. I apply a wax. Either Meguiars UPW or Collinite 476s.

All the time. I put on a sealant and then a coat of wax on my lights every time I am detailing my ride or my friends. This is a way to help prevent the yellow or discoloring of the headlights. More protection too.

Couldnt have said it better kamakaZ i do the same, in my book i use wizards shine master and i allow a day or two to cure, then i put a longevity polymer wax then curing 2 days as well.. then to finish the whitest purest carnauba i have at the moment, i like to play with carnaubas see which i enjoy best

Thanks!! I do like to try different carnaubas too! So far my favorite carnaubas are Dodo Juice Supernatural and Chem Guys Celeste Detaglio. I amgonna try Pinnacle Souveran or Vic Red on my GF ride this weekend!!
