Totally a newbie. Eyes hurt from reading and learning. :work:

We live here in the mountains of Eastern Oregon. Could someone please tell me if there is a major concern with temperature? It is quite common to hit high 90's maybe a little more than drop down to the lower 50's upper 40's at nite the same day. What affect on sealer?

By reading the forum I see there is mainly a personal preference as to the best HLR sealer. As far as I can see it appears this Collinate 845 seems to be the one that may last the longest and is very durable. Feed back please

845 is a sealer/wax hybrid that is quite durable, easy to apply, and easy on the wallet.

The wax in it gives a warmer finish than a pure sealant and the sealant holds up to high heat environments better than a pure wax so you get the best of both worlds

Eggzactly! IME the only difference temps make is during application/removal. None of which I've found bothersome as long as you work in the shade.

I personally find it looks best on lighter colors because it's a 'bright' shine. Really sets off those colors that don't traditionaly feature deep, crisp relections. Some don't care for the brighter shine on darker colors as they prefer the depth of a carnauba. For them Collinite 915 provides depth as well as the durtability of 845.
