Is there any specific amount of time to wait in between coats of 845? It's not a sealant so I assumed there isn't, but just wanna make sure. I apply one coat, wait 30 seconds to a minute, then buff off. Can I go right to a second coat as soon as the first is buffed?

I would wait a day before applying a second coat, as Colly has a lot of solvents and will probably remove most of the first layer if applied to soon.

I have done back to back coats and also waited 24 hrs. I personally can't tell a difference for longevity wise. The reason for waiting is to let the solvents evaporate out of the first coat. I don't know if they need to or not. So most of the time I marathon wax it back to back with no wait time. I wax each section and remove each section till the entire car is done, then repeat for second coat. So my wait time is approx 30min-60min between coats.

Cool thnx guys, I rotated my tires today and cleaned the barrels real good and applied two pretty heavy coats back to back for the winter, and I just wondered if there was any recommended setup time

collinite should always be applied thin :dunno:

I can not see any difference in applying 1 or 2 coats .. looks wise and durability.

Many times the 2nd coat is just to make sure you did not miss any spots.....I get better durability with 2 coats, but now use blackfire wet diamond instead. It's better in my eyes....
