can collinite 845 be applied and removed by hand with great results?
 
Yes. Many people apply it by hand only and have the same durability and looks as with a machine. The only problem with applying it by hand is that this stuff has to go on very very very very very.....(you get the point) thin. It is very easy for someone to be applying it by hand and think they are applying thin, but they are applying it way to thick. That's why most people suggest using a PC to apply Collinite 845.
 
I apply it by and remove it by hand.

What I found is that the longer that you wait before buffing off the easier it is to take off.
 
I use it both ways. Good to work with either way. If it's shaken enough, it's easy to apply thin.
 
if applying by hand what kind of applicator should i use? any suggestions...
