I was washing my F150 this morning and stopped to take a look at it when I finished drying it with a leaf blower and microfiber towel. I thought to myself it still looks pretty good and it's been 3 months since I applied a coat of Collinite 915. Since I applied the Collinite right before Christmas the truck has been sitting outside 24/7. I also drove it on a 1,800 miles trip to Memphis, TN pulling a trailer to pick up a Viper. Since applying 915 it has been washed once a week using Poorboy's SS&S. It still beads like crazy.

Collinite 915 has to be one of the longest lasting nuba out there. I need to try some Black Wow on the trim.

Nice. I have 915 and 845 and love them both. VERY good for the price of admission!! Where's your Bugatti??? :)
 
I love 915, looks great and last as long or longer then pretty much any sealant, don't know what the heck Collinite uses for the durability, it also holds its looks, doesn't really fade off after a few weeks like most waxes. Yeh I need to try Black Wow also....damn Ford truck trim
 
Gary your truck does look good! So do the reflections in the pics. But what looks really good to me is the palm trees and all of the green foliage. Man, I miss green grass and trees with leaves.

I have Collinite on my truck but after the nasty winter we had it doesn't look like yours at all. :( All I need is one warm day to do a full detail on it and I'll be happy.
 
I think the Collinite waxes are highly underrated. I'm a big fan. Your truck looks great.
 
I LOVE 845!

It's one of the best looking and the easiest wax to apply.It's durability is just icing on the cake.
 
Seems like most of you who have tried Collinite agree that it lasts a lot longer then other nubas. I have never tried 845 but 915 does look very good.

Dennis, I surprised you have never heard of a Ford Bugatti. ;)

Surfer, I surprised you have not tried Black Wow yet. I want to get some on my next order.

cls, I have heard that 845 is easy to apply. I don't think 915 is that easy but not bad if you put some Quick Detailer on you bad.

Alice, It sounds like your need a Florida Vacation. Hopefully spring is on it's way up there. It was hot here today.:D

300B, based I my experience with 915 I would definitely try 845.

Gary, you should get some 845 for your next application on the F150....you won't be disappointed. It's easier to use than the 915, especially if you leave it in the hot sun for a little bit or put the bottle in some warm/hot water for a little bit before applying. It will go on like thin oil, and a little goes a long way, just put in on thin. Removal is easier as well. It has a nice deep gloss and the beading is unbelievable.

Forget lasting longer then other nubas, it last longer then basically any sealant, it'll hold right up with Zaino and DG 105 which imo are the most durable. DG 105 and 915 is a top notch combo, you have the looks and excellent durability.

845 is good but a lil more finicky (have to shake like crazy to get thin consistency), it works awesome on silver for whatever reason. I've used it on silver and loved it. Search on Autopia or pry any board and you'll see people really love it on silver.

Yeh I haven't tried Black Wow yet, I've been satisfied with AA Gel on trim, as so far out of the dozens of trim products I've tried its the only one that seems to work well and hold up for at least a month. Damn you Ford and your funky truck trim :D
 
I still haven't tried 915 yet, it still is sitting in garage somewhere, but have experienced that 476S is very durable. Did 2 coats of Klasse SG (precleaned with AIO), and topped with 476x2 and it was very durable combo. I took the car to South Lake Tahoe skiing resort, travelling east on highway 50, about 2.5 hour trip in snow, didn't even wash the car for 2 weeks, and went there again. water was beading like crazy when I washed it.
 
Looks great Gary! I cant decide if I want to use some more 845 or Pinnacle SS II.

Both great choices, depends if you want the "shimmer" of SSII or nice looks and durability of 845. Use 845, then top it with SSII!!!

One thing about Collinite 915 is it doesn't have much of any smell to it so probably don't taste good Joe. No strawberry, grape or tropical fruit smells.

it's funny how you posted this..i've been looking at the 915 for over a month but i have so many products i can't justify anymore for one car...unless i start unloading some ;)

I like that about it, no fancy smells or anything, just a straight, damn good wax. Has a chemical like smell, which just like Optimum Protectant Plus, for some reason I like it (smell).

I'm with you Surfer. If it's adding much cost to a product just to make it smell better I would rather pay less and have a chemical smell.

I wonder if they would go good together? The 845 made it look real nice.
