Looking for a hd compound for gel-coat, that won't dry out, even in full sun, dry weather, and being heavily oxidized. The last boat I did I have a miserable time with the conditions above, even with the really expensive 3m imperial. I used the Marine 31 spray polish and pad conditioner, it wasn't enough. It kept my pad wet, but the surface always seamed pretty dry, even when using ample amount of compound and doing small sections.

I've always had good luck with HD products in full sun.
