Compound/Polish Removal Towels

I've amassed quite a collection of high quality Korean (and AG Cobra) microfiber towels. All in the 360-480 gsm range. I'm now wondering if I would be better off going with a lesser gsm for compound/polish removal-- a shorter nap, "grabby" towel, as opposed to my softer, plusher towels. I've got a couple 265's and 300's that came free with various products and they seem better suited to polish removal than my longer napped towels.

What do you use for compound/polish removal? I'd like to get maybe 20 dedicated edgeless towels in that 265-300gsm range just for this purpose-- and reserve my current towels for detail spray/spray wax/drying.

Your advice is appreciated.
 
Microfiber Wax Removal Towel, buffing cloth This is a towel you should buy if you are looking for removal because the fibers are twisted loops but still soft. They work very well with little to no effort. They are out of stock now but if they restock they are a nice towel.I did not see that they were out of stock until after I replied.
 
A few months ago I worked on a Challenger that held on to the compound and polish residue so strongly that I ended up using a towel dampened with D114 at 1:256 and it cut through the residue effortlessly. A second towel was used to remove leftover liquids. Since then I tested N914 and it works equally well.

D114 and N914 are great at easing the residue removal process - even a light spritz at 1:128 of either product is enough to reduce the amount of necessary rubbing. ONR works too, but it doesn't seem to be quite as quick at cutting as D114 or N914.
 
If I could, I'd like to get a bunch of Rupes microfiber towels. They're thin, light, and effective.
