I love Chemical Guys, but their website often leaves me very confused about their products and what they actually do. I was browsing around and I came across their UK website and noticed that each product has a one-line description about what each product actually does. Eureka!!! Some products (like Blacklight) still have somewhat ambiguous descriptions, but at least 75% of the products are easier to figure out here.

Chemical Guys UK The finest car care and automotive detailing products available.

blacklight is a

1) some claim its an AIO
2) I use it as a glaze before lsp
3) it can also be used as an LSP

Yes--exactly what I am talking about. I use it in all three modes described.

 <-- that's me with their products

I agree with #2. Regardless of claims, a glaze seems to be the best description of how it works. Everybody tops it with something or other.

I read on here that people have used a glaze, BL then a sealant..

I think that's a bit of overkill. BL acts like a hybrid glaze/LSP. Of course, I couldn't leave this well enough alone so I had to pick up some of this to try out for next time:

I'm gonna try EZ Creme, BL, Wolfgang Fuzion, then V7. Might be overkill Im the MAN

I will be using a good sealant on top of a glaze\BL when I do my winter prep. I figure if I lived in a place that was warm year round then yea, it would seem a bit much.
