I have a Sun Joe SPX3000 electric pressure washer. I would like to convert the wand that came with the unit one that is shorter for easier maneuverability. More of a "machine gun" style as opposed to a "rifle" style.

However, I don't want to lose the ability to use the wand as intended (the "rifle" style).

The foam cannon I use has a 1/4" attachment that I use in the factory wand's quick disconnect

Is this possible? What connections do I need in order to make this happen?

Here is how the wand comes from the factory:

And when using the foam cannon with this set up, it looks like this:

I'm looking for the connections that will allow me to have a shorter set up like this:

I had someone help me when getting a foam cannon and i got the kranzle fitting with it and it screws right in to the end of the gun now. You might be able to get a quick disconnect on it and be that short if that's what you want not real sure i haven't looked into it much after getting mine. Hope this helps you out.

Thanks for the reply. There are numerous fittings/adapters available that I'm overwhelmed about which is the correct option to get the results I'm looking for.

Also, I remember reading that the SPX3000 uses European threads, so most fittings/adapters won't work?

Hoping someone can link me to exactly what I need.

Yea i had one like you have and tried to get a flexzilla hose to work with it and couldnt i took it back and now i have a troy bilt 3100xp and it works great for everything but i forgot about those threads being different. Maybe contact their customer support and see if they have a fitting you are looking for.

Looks like M22 connections. So you might want to try an M22 1/4" DC adapter. Lots of places to get them. You could also put the opposite end on your wand so its a quick in and out.

OR

Just by a new trigger that has no wand and build yourself the ultimate short wand system.

Here is setup I am using. I made all my connections Metric Quick Disconnect easier to roll my pressure hose up with gun removed and quick fittings allows easy switching from Foam Cannon to 18" wand.
