Walt...I agree with other who are saying get other pads. There is nothing really wrong with the CCS pads, it just takes ALOT longer to break the product down while polishing. The cut on these pads are slightly less than flat or hydrotech pads. These pads are open cell pads which will absorb alot more product than a closed cell pad, thus causing pad saturation, which can delay your cutting ability until you clean the pads or switch them out. Granted...the pads will last alot longer than a hydrotech pad-can't say how long the duration is compared to a flat pad as I haven't used those yet, but you'll spend more time polishing with a ccs pad than the others. If you decide to go with hydrotech's, I recommned getting alot of them, and clean and change out your pad very often. This will prolong the life this pad. Hope this helps.
