Hey all,

I have a friend who has a color shifting satin wrap. It has a small scuff that she would like fixed if possible. I have seen the scuff and it isn't bad, it it was paint I wouldn't even use a polisher. Is something like this fixable? I don't want to do anything where if fixes the scuff, but takes away the satin finish.

Thanks

•Does this wrap have the
“self-healing” characteristic?
-If so: treat it to a prescribed hot
water, or out-under-the-Sun treatment.

•If it’s not “self-healing:
-cautiousness; prudence; and,
patience; is the name of the game.

Correction usually denotes abrasives...
and we know those type of products
(along with the Waxes and products
containing gloss enhancers) are taboo
for the majority of matte-types of finishes.

•Since you’ve stated the scuff doesn’t appear
to be all that serious (and if the wrap is not
“self-healing”); I’ll suggest the following products:

-Poorboy’s World Matte Detailer & Protectant
-McKee's 37 Matte Finish Cleaner & Protectant

The film is Avery but that is all I know. I have some satin and matte detail spray and would use it even if it didn't fix the issue.
I will ask more about it.
The car is driven daily and has been in the hot sun since the scuff so that alone hasn't helped.

TOTALLY off topic!

Saw the thread tittle and my old eyes are asking, "What the hell is color shifting Saran Wrap?"

NEED more coffee...
