Well with the snow moving in again today and the baby sleeping and my wife out getting her hair done, I was left alone and bored.
So I decided to give a try at my first ever attempt with my PC. Went out to the garage and decided just to try a couple panels. I did a section of my roof and half my trunk. I definitely need more practice but considering I've only been reading around here for maybe two months, I wasn't expecting to be a pro. I've been busy ordering lots of stuff so I had a bit of an assortment of products to choose from.
I picked up the M205 and a LC flat pad to see how it would work on my mustangs paint. It was hard to get pictures to really show much.

The roof section. It was impossible to get a good picture here. But you can see the clarity of the LED lights to the right.

The M205 did a good job but I think I'm going to have to go more aggressive. I know its nothing spectacular but I had a little time to blow and couldn't resist. I will be doing the whole car when the weather warms and I have a free day.

Perfect. This is how it starts. Work with a mild product combo, gain some confidence, and things really start taking off. Good for you...enjoy. I can't wait to see that metallic just POP!

I can't wait either. Hopefully the flake really comes out. I will be topping with fuzion when time comes

Looks like a great start, might take a while but it'll turn out nice.

You sound a lot like me. I am pretty new to this hobby and I'm waiting for a day off that isn't really busy to use my DA for the first time. Just received some pads, another backing plate, two micro chenille wash mits (BOGO), and a couple brushes for wheel and wheel well. I only have Ultimate compound and polish though so I might need to get something else too.
