I haven't posted work in awhile due to being so busy all the time but this was a fun one. I did this about 2 months ago. This car was in absolute horrible condition when the owner brought it to me. He picked it up from the dealership and brought it straight to me. I did a 3 step polish and then applied cquartz finest...Don't remember what my process was but I know I used all Menzerna products!!

Very nice. Did you get to drive it around the block?

Ha no! Supposedly a company in stl wrecked a Ferrari doing that last year....taking it on a joy ride.

Haha.. That's bad! Here in Quebec, in an hotel (Hilton Montreal) a valet have been caught at 200+ Km/h.. And it was a client car...

Lol, really not a great thing to do!

By the way, you made a great job on that car!

Good thing, too.

Every Tesla keeps a record of energy consumption, and the iPhone/Android app connects with the car's GPS system to show exactly where it is located and how fast it is moving...

The problem with Teslas is that the paint is soft. On top of that, there are no dealers. So, these things are shipped from California to whatever destination (sometimes a home, sometimes a service center) and they're often washed in your ole neighborhood car wash.

Mine came with swirls, and the last time I dropped mine off to be serviced, they washed it and it came back with more swirls.

Many owners are specifically requesting that Tesla no longer "detail" their cars before delivery.

You, on the other hand, did a beautiful job with that Model S!

Many dealer have the bad reputation to put swirl in the paint.. When i went with a friend of mine at Mazda, we bought his new car and the dealer doesn't want to deliver it without preparation.. We said, we we'll pay the preparation, no problem.. But please, don't touch the car.. They never accept... Strange.. But, i must admit, because we ask especially that they don't touch it.. The paint was perfect.. :P

LOL , I m about an hre or so from Mtl , Waterloo , formerly of Granby . Small world right !

Haha! Small world! (We don't have any detailing forum in Quebec? :\)

how is the application and removal of the c quartz finest ?
is it the same as normal c quartz?
is it easy to remove or a bit sticky ?

Solid work, LOVE those cars, I bet it's nice not having any exhaust to polish for a change!

Nice work OP! That MS looks fantastic!

Application is very straight forward. After thoroughly prepping the surface (polish + eraser wipe down) simply wipe on, wait recommended time depending on temp/humidity, buff off. It's pretty easy to remove. The trick is to keep the suede microfiber cloth clean and fold it or swap it out after every few panels. As the towel begins to build up with product you will get smudges and fingerprint type things in the direction you wipe. If you are careful, go slowly, and keep the towel clean this problem is mitigated.
