I like it, why not use it? What's wrong with it? Has a nice ring to it...get's my vote.

By the way it didn't take you to long to get hooked on detailing huh ;)

Nica i already detail at a dealship and have been hooked for a few years now...it just took me this long to actually take it to that next level and try it as a side business plus now i can take car of my car even better with all the new goodies!

are you guys being for real right now?

Yes, I'm serious I like it. Has a nice ring to it, well at least I think so :D

What do you see wrong with it?

To me it has a speedy response all over it...must be the road runner thing :D

haha ok well we can throw that one into the mix too...

option number 4 - ROAD RUNNER Detailing...

I like the ring to it. Catchy, and automatically has name recognition. Car and the cartoon.

Don't worry, if you use it I will charge a nominal fee of "one million dollars".....

so right now i am using the name that lone star came up with while i try to put together a business card...

not sure if i can post what it might look like or not but i'll just sorta show you...

Example:

ROAD RUNNER DETAILING (centered and on one line)
South Jersey's Premier Automotive Detailing Company (centered and on one line right below the company name)

then a few spaces and my name (left allignment)

then another space and my phone number (left allignment)
email (left allignment)
website (left allignment)

* i dont have a background at this moment and not sure what i want...i love whitethunders...i was thinking of possibly doing one solid color (my cars paint color fiji blue pearl) or possible that of which a roadrunner (the car) originally came in...

i would love some advise!

thanks!

I like it, then use the roadrunner cartoon as the logo. Hopefully your mobile. Cause that would be perfect. Vistaprint.com has good templates for business cards if you want to check those out. How did you create your website?

I like it too. The "Roadrunner" I know= Crafty, Smart, Honest, Quick.

From my personal experience, I got my business cards at Vistaprint.com. DON'T get them until they have one of their sales (which is often). They often have 80% off their business cards up to a 1000 card count. I went ahead and got a custom backside for an additional $5.99? and the upgraded glossy finish for $10.00. I'm VERY glad I got 1500, for almost everyone that I speak w/ asks if I have a card. It's very professional and looks good if you can say "yes" while reaching for them. I've also received many compliments on the looks of mine, so take your time designing them.

My website is through 1and1.com. I believe it's $5 a month for the service provider and was $5 for the domain name (paid once a year). At the time I paid mine, it was only $15 for 6 months.

Business name.... I simply took my last name. I was possibly going to utilize it in the sense of saying something like "We CARE about your vehicle" etc etc. Somehow incorporating the "Hart" into it. The main reason though, is that I hope to move out of Ohio in the next couple years. I plan on doing this detailing for awhile, at the very least, always on the side. This way if I move, I do not have to worry about changing names, etc. etc. per my location. I just have to change a few words on my website and I'm automatically geared towards the new location. I wouldn't be able to do this with a more common business name.

And I too like Road Runner Detailing. Then again, it gives the perception of being speedy and expressed. I, personally, am not about being express. Which is why my slogan is "We pay attention to detail." I am not at all about speed (although I am constantly working on one part of the vehicle), I am about taking my time.

hart you give alot of good ideas...thanks!

...my mom likes roadrunner too...

i was thinking of doing my first name but i dont seem to be a big fan of that...so right now i have no idea...

but its cool b/c i have a few poeple lined up already with or without a name...

sweet roadrunner is wining...see told you it had a nise ring to it...hehehehe.
