I made a flyer in order to get my business going.

Tell me what changes I made, what you think etc Im the MANIm the MAN

Looking good. Changes I would recommend is for the logo maybe you have to many sparkle things in it. As for flyer I would add a full exterior package as well.
 
Yea, for that specific black and white logo I might change it. I do have the full exterior package on there. It's on the right.
 
I think they look nice. Love a clean flyer that isn't too busy.

What are your plans for distrubiting the flyer? Who will see it and where will it be seen?

Wow, ok I am a moron! For some reason I thought that was a full detail! I love the Logo and even a few sparkles but just no so many.

As of right now, I'm thinking about going into subdivisions and taping them on people's mailboxes. That's all I got right now so if you have a better idea please let me know! :buffing:

Being a Photographer/Custom printer, I always look at composition...

your logo would be much stronger, if the car image was on the right side
of the type, facing left...

we read from left to right... the image would be meeting the viewer's eyes...
as is... it pushes your eyes past the logo...

not too sure about the stars/sparkles...
depending on print quality they may not appear as stars...

on the logo... place your phone number under the logo... for more balance...
then add your website address at the bottom...
as is, it splits the view in half... confusing to read easily...

footnotes...
rather than using #1... use a star/bullet... ( this is a flyer... not a book... wink/smile...)
and state... prices starting at...
Actual cost... sounds as if the "real" cost will, "always" be... much higher...

Maybe try to talk to a few local country clubs, spas, etc.

Another idea is to find a local forum, regardless of the forum's topic, and post up in there off topic section. Post your flyer (digitial version) and a write up and offer advice and your services.
 
Just my two cents here... Most people wouldn't look at it and go "Oh, car detailing." Yeah, the logo has a car on it, but other than that, the average person wouldn't realize what 'detailing' is until they saw hand wash.

This is just from my experience, I have met people who didn't know what 'detailing' was until I said 'automotive detailing'.

I think it looks good, real clean not too busy right to the point. The only thing bad that catches my eye (and it might just be me) is the centering. Your phone number and web address aren't centered with your logo. I see how you centered them with each column but IMO they should be centered with the logo. (I write a lot of power points for classroom presentations and some people think I'm way too anal sometimes) It looks good though, Good luck! It should bring in some business!
 
looks really good-maybe put 2 step instead of multi step for polishing and were you goin to seal and wax the same day? awsome packages that you offer-

I don't know if I centered the phone number or the website correctly or if that's what you meant nor did I know exactly what you meant when dealing with the footnotes. I'm not the best at wording.

I will also consider taking out the "stars" depending on if they show up or not during the final stage. I didn't add any car wash symbols etc since it already had a car outline as well as a description of the service with car wash being the first bullet. I also changed the multi-step to 2 step.

One more thing I should mention is that this is going on baby blue paper. I don't know if that means anything at all, but I thought I should just throw that out there.

for me the full interior package / I don't see it to attractive. it shows a nice name Full Interior / but it shows a poor section of what it is a really full detail. my sugestion is go higher on the price first, & put more info

if you only charge for Interior detail / your work won't be as noticiable if you don't wash the car and at least some last toch spray detailer

I always / always wash the car. so my interior work can be shown better.

On the Bronze Package / I will change again the Price. and try to show that carpet & seat's will be shampooed

just alone the carpet & shampoo on a dirty car / or better yet an SUV
is at least $75dls going cheap
the $100dls charge for going Mobile / the interior work and all that $100dls is way to low

On the full exterior / you put like 7 things the same as the Bronze Package. Try to start with the really difference of the technique you are gonna use. you have to sell the Best technique

it looks almost the same at the begining as the Bronze / you can use the Brand of that special Polish / wax / glaze
because coustomer that knows about detail ' will want to know what you put in his car

and again just for Exterior / you will end up washing the car / a more full detail is the one with the Exterior / interior care

This is my opinion / this is what I would change if it was my flyer

EXTRA NOTE
the headlight's restoration / seat belt cleaning / car's ceiling / water spot - window cleaning / hood & engine pressure wash & fully detail / Old wax or polish residues - remove /

you can use a lot of this speacial extra detail thing's so you can make extra money or make that full interior / exterior detail raise your income

I don't know what else to do to the interior other than what I mentioned.

I was talking to someone else about how if I raise the price I think no one will buy it. You are saying it will take 3 hours to shampoo the carpets, I estimated 1 hour. I don't really know. All of this just seems like an extreme investment for my clients; so extreme that they won't bother. This is the conflict I am having right now.

i would go ahead and print some of those up and get them out there.
are you goin to be useing a hot water extractor?
 
I just got a Little Green Machine so we should see how that does. I'm planning on using it with Folex and APC+..that does count as shampooing doesn't it? I don't want to mislead people :(
