how can i fix this?

Use some teflon tape on the threaded connection then loosen it enough to where its in the correct position. See if that helps.

thats what the guy at home depot told me to do. they didnt have the proper thread. wouldnt the thing leak water if i just use the tape?

would be best if i could find a proper attachment to fix this

on my karcher i do exactly what aerocleanse mentioned. make sure to use teflon tape so it doesn't leak...

It wont leak if you put the tape on,then snug it to where it sits properly. Be sure not to over tighten and crack the threads.

(Or you can hold your gat sideways! )

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using AG Online

Teflon tape should prevent any leaks, and its cheap too. Getting a different adapter would be best, it depends on how much trouble you're willing to go though.

I always wrap threaded hose connections with teflon tape if there are not going to be undone after every use.

Not sure where that adapter came from (maybe they changed them), but the one AG sells/sold? Is female with brass threads.

Since its female, - and the you need a male/male pipe (brass), you now have 2 sets of threads you can tighten to clock the bottle right.

So, if Teflon tape doesn't help - get a female Karcher adapter.

u mean get this? male nipple connects to cannon and karcher attachment connects to other end of nipple and then attach to gun?
Brass Male Nipple Connector
Karcher K-Series Pressure Washer Fitting

The other option would be to get a quick disconnect kit and place it between the foam cannon and the adaptor. The foam cannon will always self level with this setup.

I have mine set up like that and love it.

Hahaha the sideways looks funny. My foam cannon I bought came with the Karcher adapter and it is straight up and down, so it is weird yours is sideways.

Try a washer between adapter and gun. See if that gets you closer.

You need to use teflon tape regardless. Otherwise you way more likely to have leaks.... it's just the nature of the beast.
