hi guys, some background info. i Drive a 2000 black VW Jetta.about a year ago i had my rear bumper repianted around August. i waited a month and a half before applying WGDGPS w 2 layers. and right before winter came around i put on a later of 845. i was amazed at how long my car stayed clean. winters up here are pretty harsh too. during my first wash in winter i noticed the car bead really well all over BUT not the rear bumper! it was as if iit had no protection. i resealed just in case. now its summer and it seems to be the same. i just did a spring detail couple days ago. wash. claybar and 845. we'll see how it holds up this time. any ideas if it should take this long for the paint to cure?

Typically they say 30 days for the paint to fully gas out before it can be sealed.

The protection may not be lasting as long due to exhaust fumes? I honestly can't give you an answer as to why. After you apply your 845 or WGDGPS have you tried spraying water on it to see if it beads or sheds water like protected paint should? It could be perhaps the repaint job.
