I bought this HHR Panel a few weeks ago and now finally have time
to do the paint correction.
Problems.....
Swirls and wet sand marks in flames that are outlined in pinstripe
Deep wetsand marks around handles and a few other places, not to many
No clear coat, I was told its enamel
Here's what I tried so far.....
Blended wool pad with pdp 2000 grit leveler......took out some, R.I.D.S appeared
next I tried Blended wool with Wizards 1500 final cut....little better still there
polished with all in one, looks decent but theres wet sanding marks all threw the flames and a few other areas.
I have some 1200 turbo cut, should I try this or way to aggressive ?
I did all the above with a light hand, due to the enamel. removed some paint but not much at all.
Here's the panel, I'll try and post pics of the scratches and swirls when I can.
to do the paint correction.
