D107 Citrus APC+ release date?

Does anyone know when Meg's is releasing their newly formulated D107 Citrus APC+? I'm really looking forward to trying it and thought it was suppose to be released at the beginning of 2018 but can remember exactly when.
 
Reviving from 3 months ago, but I saw D107 available for pre-order and bought a kit.

The estimated ship date I see is 4/17 (tuesday)
 
Anyone using the new D107 APC+ compared to 101 or other APCs??
 
Received my gallon and spray bottle last week. Mixed some up at a little weaker than 5:1 for a quick engine freshening on my wife’s Lincoln. First and foremost, incredible good smell. Citrusy but not fake or overpowering. Smells better than most APC or degreasers. Cleaning power seems impressive. States low foam but agitated with a detail brush it did foam up some but that’s what I was hoping for.

Looking forward to using it more frequently soon.

Gave it a chance to stretch its legs again this weekend, cleaning the engine on my 04 Grand Marquis. The car is outside 365 days a year even in winter storage. No serious detailing has been done on this car in probably close to a decade. The paint is peeling pretty severely so once I get around to repainting it, I plan to do an exhaustive and extensive restoration detail on it. The car was my grandfather's, so it holds a lot of sentimental value.

Cleaned with D107 @ 5:1 and a little Sprayway citrus Crazy clean foam, rinsed with a garden hose and then dressed with Hyper Dressing at 2.5:1. Excuse the blotchiness at the front end, it was pouring as I was trying to get the after shot. I need to pop the hood after having driven it a few times to see where it leveled or needs a little extra dressing to even out the appearance.

Engine came out great! Is this more of a APC then a degreaser? I currently use the Mckees APC, but looking for a degreaser to add to my collection.
 
The MSDS on Meguiars D107 has a publish date of 10/31/2017 so it is a very recent product. In concentrate, the pH is between 12-13 which seems pretty good for a degreaser. If you plan on using it for interiors, I would suggest diluting it at least 20:1. That will knock the pH down to 11.178.

Sorry, I disagree with this advice. 20:1 would render this product all but useless except for the lightest of cleaning needs except if used in an extractor solution, as designated by Meg's own directions on the label.


Suggested Dilution Ratios (Water:Product):
Heavy Duty Strength: 4:1
Medium Duty Strength: 10:1
General Cleaning (Cold Water Extractors): 20:1
General Cleaning (Hot Water Extractors) 64:1

PH Rating: 12-13

Machine Cleaning Tip: For stronger cleaning and long-term extractor machine performance, it is best to apply Citrus Power Cleaner Plus directly to carpet and upholstery. Use the machine for rinsing and extraction only. By running only water through the machine, the pump will last longer.

It definitely has the properties of a degreaser and works quite well in that task, as evidenced by the years of built up junk on the engine I did.


I have it diluted 10:1 for lighter jobs and at 5:1 for tougher stuff like engines and tires. FWIW, it works very very well as a tire cleaner also. I suppose for very light interior needs you could go to 15:1 or so.

I was merely pointing out that a cleaner with high alkalinity may be too harsh for interiors. I always go with the least aggressive method first. There was a discussion on another thread where a member was afraid that he ruined an interior with Megs D103. A pH of 11.178 is safe enough for light cleaning on delicate interiors. At 15:1, the dilution is still safe enough at a pH of 11.3. At 10:1, the pH is 11.46 and at 5:1 the pH is 11.72. This is assuming that the concentrate starts at 12.5.
At 4:1 it should be a great degreaser for engine bays and a great non-acidic tire and wheel cleaner.

nice to see that you still gave it
