D151 Lifespan (Applied)?

Does anyone know the average lifespan of 151 once applied? Should I top with Quik Wax to extend the life? I was wondering how long it lasts in typical weather conditions vs cleaner wax. I noticed the 151 doesn't give as slick of a surface of other products and I remembered somebody saying it didnt last very long so they topped it with Quick Wax for extra life. I use it quite a bit and have always told people it lasts about 2-3 months.
