I have a new question that so I created a new thread. For a beginner what is a good recommended interval to clean your pads.

For instance I want to polish my car with Poorboys SSR2, how often am I cleaning the pad until I am ready to Move to SSR1 or LSP? EverySide, Every Section pass within 20x20 area, once after I am done putting the SSR2?

Follow up would be what is the best method, I have read that moisture / water in your pad counteracts the properites of the polish, but autogeek sells the grit guard pad washing system? What are my pad cleaning options?

I am newb asking alot of basic questions to get started.

Best!!!!

This is an example of when more is better, that is cleaning your pad more often is better than only cleaning it once in a while...

My normal practice would be to clean my pad after each section I buff or after every other section I buff.

In a perfect world you would clean your pad after each section you buff, by doing this you reduce the potential to transfer spend product and removed paint to the new section.

The pad washers work great and take all the time and work out of cleaning your pads...
