Finally got a chance to use my PC7424XP for the first time. Can't believe it took me so long to get one.
This is my mom's Accord. It hadn't been washed in months, and she never really kept up with waxing it. They did have Auto Butler, which I'm sure did more harm than good in terms of swirls (if you've seen the AB machine you know what I'm talking about). Let me also say I wasn't aiming for 100% correction, just practice, and my time was cut short by nightfall. The after shots were taken earlier today. Next weekend I'll strip the 845 off and finish it out.
It has lots of scratches, mostly swirls, RIDS of course, and some damage done by yours truly while ridding a splattering of tar from the side panels.
It was dirty, dirty, dirty.
Not sure what that lighter spot is, but there were several on the hood. Clay took them right off.
This was the PC with an orange Lake Country flat pad using Megs UC.

The following were still on the orange pad but with Megs 105.

And here are some random panels without before shots that were done with the orange pad/105 combination.
Like I said, I'm not done with this car. I'm going to 105 the rest of the panels and then 205 everything. Once it was too dark to do anything else (no shop lights with me), I topped it off with Collinite 845 (awesome, by the way!) and left it at that. Still not done, but quite a difference just the same.
And I'd like to extend thanks to everyone on this board for all I've learned over the past month. No way I would've had the confidence to take a machine to paint without seeing how great everyone here is at transforming cars!
