Just what I need. A Harbor Freight recently opened a few miles from my house.

When I was out today I took a little detour - for research purposes only - so I'd know exactly where it was located, in the event there's ever a need for an emergency Harbor Freight run. Not only are they in the neighborhood, but when I passed by I see that they're having a parking lot sale this weekend. Oh, great. Just when I thought buying anything else was over for awhile. At least they've been offering coupons like crazy the past few weeks.

And what's right next door to Harbor Freight? A Dollar Tree store.

I'm so doomed. :surrender:

No kidding... harbor Freight's having a sale??????

(insert snicker)
We joke about this all the time at work.

I wish a Harbor Freight would open here in Honolulu! As much as people talk bad about their products, its a phenomenal value.

As long as you aren't a pro who will be depending on the product every day for your livelyhood, their stuff isn't bad.

I use their DA polisher and it works great. After using a coupon I paid about $50 for it.

Lol, I experienced the same a few months ago. Glad they've opened up in my area.

I also buy their black nitrile gloves 5 boxes at a time.

I bought their DA polisher with a coupon for $47 and put a 3 inch backing plate on it for small areas...works great! So great I bought another for a backup in case something goes wrong with the first one.

They have a couple of carts that I would buy if I had the space.

I have bought tire brushes, lug nut brushes and also their painters tape. All of it works fine and is much cheaper.

The only think I have purchased from them that was junk was the rolling shop seat. It broke after a month when one wheel got caught in a concrete seam.

I have passed on their microfiber stuff though - not good.

I have had mixed success with HF products. Some good value, some just went back to the store. Never a question with a returned item. Get a new one or $ back. Hand tools and sockets are good, but wait for sales.

I've been considering the McCulloch steamer they sell, and wanted to look at the gloves and possibly a work light. Too bad the 20% off coupon is limited to one item per visit.

I was looking at this today. It has some really good reviews on other sites. I'm thinking about picking one up too.

Yes, and did not know this.

Thank you for the tip

Check you local sale ads in the newspapers. HF always has one in mine. Always some kind of tool for free and a 20% coupon. I did use Amazon for the reviews on a few models before I decided I'm going to get the one at HF.

I purchased the HF digital rotary buffer awhile back for about $40, to compound the gelcoat on my camper. It worked fantastic. Weighs a ton, so my arms and shoulders got a workout, but did exactly what I needed it to do.

Yup! McCullough steamer for me too at my local HF. I have a 25% & a 20% coupon.
