Hi have a car that is prone to cracking dash and seems to scratch easily.

Car = Toyota Mark X 2007 (also known as Toyota Reiz) [SUB][/SUB]Black dash & Exterior = White

Which is better dashmat or protectant?

Thanks in advance

I don't care for the way dash mats look. Reminds me of putting shag carpets around toilet seat lids. I would use a good protectant and also I'd have my windshield ceramic tinted. I'm in Florida and both are pretty much necessary.

For sure use a reputable brand protectant for the dash.

And if you're uber-worried - then get the dash mat.

I'm with Chris, I don't like how the dash mats or covers look but they do block out 100% of everything.

Yep I agree about look but these seem to have a very common problem with cracking

Got some 303 Aerospace Protectant, will that do the job if applied every 2 months.

Have a sunshade as well for when parked.

Thanks
