Thought I'd better put some of my work up :)
This was booked in for a one day correction and wax.

car on arrival

washed and taken inside for a closer look at the paint

lots of water etching. the owner had washed it the day before and confessed that he'd struggled with it out in the sun.

the polish of choice was Scholls S30+ on a green DJ fin pad.

a quick 50/50 on the bonnet

polishing finished

she was glazed by hand with DJ lime prime lite and a coat of DJSN Hybrid applied. interior hoovered, glass cleaned with DJ clearly menthol and a SN waffle cloth. tyres dressed with DJSN tyre dressing.
outside for some final pics

flake a poppin'

thanks for looking. comments welcome as always.

Looks good. What did you use on the paint to get that depth and gloss?

Thanks very much.
Scholls s30 polish
Dodo juice lime prime lite
Dodo juice supernatural hybrid wax

I think you talk him out of it so you have job security with him owning a black car:joking: It is a beautiful car

Shhh, he might be listening! ;-)

Every time I tell myself I will never own a black car again, and yet when it is time to buy one I migrate to them. I bought a white car out of 5 total cars owned. I never got the same satisfaction out of it after detailing.
