I am curious about the user experience of those that have owned the DeFelsko PosiTector 200 Coating Thickness Gage - B3 Advanced? I am particularly curious about those that have used this PTG and also the Elcometer?

I have no input on the original question but hoping some of you that use "hobby" quality and price gauges might have some input

I am talking about the $100 neighborhood

There are several older threads but several of the gauges you liked just a year or two back are no longer sold

I don't trust 99% of the reviews out there either

Anyone got any current suggestions for me?

There is nothing in the $100 range that with all sincerity could take seriously as a paint gauge. I would save up a couple hundred more or at least in the close to $200 range and get something at least reputable.
