Deicing spray

My window opens up when the door is opened. I might need to use this stuff on cold mornings. Does anyone know what effect this stuff has on the paint

-Many, many de-icers contain Methanol.
-(Not my favorite toxin.)


•Either try to find de-icers that
contain Ethanol (like 1Z Einszett).

Or:

•Make up some DIY de-icer by mixing
IPAistilled-water @2:1 ratio.
-Keep a bottle of this mixture inside the
(warm) house...by your doorway that
leads to the great outdoors.
