Has anyone ever talked about using this for the interior windows. I'm wondering if this would leave the surface completely streak free. I'm gonna test it out this weekend

What if it would wind up being that the
key to streak-free auto-glass cleaning
is to use terry-weave Microfiber towels
[Korean; 80/20 blend; 365 g/m2; are
my favorites for this cleaning task (YMMV)]...

and not by placing the focus so much
on any particular glass cleaning fluid?

Lately I've been using the thin suede towels for final wipe. Works good. I'm just thinking that the alcohol would be a good cleaner because of how fast it evaporates

distil vinegar and alcohol mix is great on windows. However, if you dont have the perfect window towels, you will get streaks.

Can't it be used full strength

Evaporation rate...
How much water, if any, does your
bottle of denatured alcohol contain?

What substance was added to it,
in order to make it denatured?

Invisible Glass is the only cleaner I use. Never had issues with streaks. Just grab a good clean el-cheapo microfiber towel and clean away. I'm not a smoker though. YMMV if you are.

I don't know the answer Bob. I'm was gonna try the stuff that comes in the blue tin can from home depot. Maybe it's already mixed with some water

Denatured alcohol is one of the major components in the "secret sauce" used by pro window cleaners, but they all have their own favorite recipe and that's just one item in the mix. Even so, technique counts for a lot. Rather than re-invent the wheel, I'd just stay with my favorite, be it D120, Stoner's, Sprayway or whatever and perfect my technique.

Make sure that you're extra
careful using this product.

Good towels and a good second buffing of all windows will prevent streaks the best. I use cg speedwipe qd for window cleaning.
