Detail: White Featherlite Enclosed Car Trailer.

Wash: Poorboy's SS&S.

Paint Cleaner: P21s Paintwork Cleanser - spot cleaned only.

Wax: Collinite 915 by hand.

Comments: Water always runs off the trailer leaving black lines on certain spots of the trailer. Washing the trailer with soap alone never gets the black lines off no matter how hard you scub it. The P21s Paintwork Cleanser takes the spots right off with little effort.

This is only the 2nd time I have used Collinite 915. Applied very thin using the WOWO method. In my opinion it's not the easiest paste wax to apply and take off. It may not be caveman user friendly. Many members have noted that it has very good durability so I thought it would be good for the trailer. I detailed the trailer last back in January. I had only washed it 3 times since then. At that time I topped it off with Natty's Blue. I think NB does look better on white. Hopefully the Collinite does have greater durability. Besides it's only a trailer.

Looks immaculate! What do you haul in that monster?

Impressive job Gary, some guts starting on that one by hand.

Looking good

Gary, better put some os on that rig. LOL;)

Looks real nice Gary...lots of real estate on that trailer....yes the 915 can be a rascal to put on and off...especialy in humid weather..I tried a few things..one that worked for me was the damp applicator..and also I used a qd before putting on..the slick surface made it glide on better...and a qd to take it off it off it it was stubborn...

anyways...you did a fine job....looks great....

I usually haul my cars in it but the other day I picked up some double front doors for my house with it. The doors were too big for my truck. I'll pass on the OS, although if it has good durability I really wound not mine on a trailer. Great looks on the trailer is not that important to me. My cars are another story.

Thanks Truls, It's really not to bad. Everthing is nice and flat and the top is bare aluminum so I don't worry about that. I did it this morning and was done by lunch.

Thanks Al and Dennis!

Al, I did use a damp foam applicator and even spayed a little crystal mist on it. It did help.

Dennis, My right arm was glad when I was on the last panel. In all honesty it wasn't to bad. I don't like applying paste wax with a PC. If it was liquid or a sealant I would have used it.

Wow Gary that is one heck of a trailer! I'm impressed that you did all of that by hand and before lunch too. You must have Popeye arms!

Looks great. I can see white in white, that's good.. So did you eat your spinach before waxing with 915?:D

Popeye arms Reddwarf? LOL :D No I have Hulkster arms in case you missed the picture.

Thanks sparkie! No spinach before the 915 just a couple cups of coffee.

Thanks Jimmie! Yes I WOWOed my arms off. J/k but then again as stated Collinite 915 is not caveman friendly.

Looks very nice Gary, I love the reflection shots on it....boy that looks like quite the job.

wow gary, that is impressive! can your truck actually haul that heavy thing loaded without killing the tranny?

Lauren, My truck hauls it good even with a car inside.

That's Nica, The trailer looks a lot worse to detail then it really is. It's big but very easy to do.

Yea I've noticed the biger the vehicle the easy and faster it is to detail. More surface area and straight too....not like the small compact vehicles with waves and cuvers...which I love but are a paint to detail ;).

I bet that truck hauls that trailer and anything it in with out even feeling it.

I have to do the enclosed trailer here soon.. Hate the black lines from the water.

Was thinking about trying the 360 on it with the PC.

I think XMT 360 with a very light cutting pad would ok. I did use XMT #1 via a PC on it before. The paint thickness is nothing like a car and you don't have much to work with. I wound not use anything aggressive on it.
