Wife needs to see her recently hospitalized father, but the car's not ready. Only got to clean, clay and partly polish the horizontal surfaces (hood, roof & trunk), spot compounding & polishing up to the fine grade (XMT 2). Plan on wiping with AIO & sealing with Klass anyway, but what are the consequences of throwing on a coat before I get to finish in a day or two? What procedures will be required before resuming with the machine? Already am resigned to washing, reclaying and/or prepping with Cleansing Lotion the vertical side panels I won't be able to polish.

just wash the car down and start were you left off, a few days is not going to do much. Just need to re-wash and finish up your polishing like you planned on

Did an ISO wipe and a coat of Klasse DGSG. Am paranoid about leaving the paint unprotected as birds, brake dust, and particulates are a major concern in the city. Now, how best to remove for polishing when she returns in a few days?

it should be ok..a few days is not gonna get too much on the car a good polish will take care of 99% of it...also the Klasse will deff help out b4 the car was left
