This is one that I did back in the summer. One of the first full details that I did. I already posted a more recent detail of this same truck but thought I'd share this one too. I'm sure DW will not mind at all!

Quantity vs. Quality.

Car makers are more interested in numbers. I'm more amazed by what the buyer settles for when it comes to a 50k ride!

I sold cars for 5 years and financed them for another 4 totalling 9 years with 5 dealerships. By far Honda had the best "factory" paint. Dodge and Ford....man I saw some crap....and heard about it once the owner washed his/her own car.

I just vented. I think.

Looking good!

Although I have a question. I've read numerous times that the Meguiars NXT Tech Wax has cleaners in it so therefore if you apply it over something else, like a sealant, it will remove it. Also, if layering it, I've heard each layer you put on will remove the previous layer b/c of the cleaners.

Is this true?

I wait 2 hours after putting the sealant on. Hard as a rock then according to Megs. NXT does have some cleaners in it but no where near that of a compound or polish. Plus I use the the ultra fine Edge 2000 finishing pad.....not gonna take anything off with that.

Sorry for asking noob questions, but what's so special about these Edge 2000 pads? I just bought a PC 7424 kit about a month ago. Maybe I'll purchase some of these pads when it comes time.
