About a year ago, my younger brother purchased a 2007 Honda S2000. The car made it's way into my garage shortly after the purchase and of course I worked my magic on it. Since the initial detail, the car has been residing in California where my brother is a travel nurse. It normally sits outside all day in the Cali sun and when it gets dirty, the car find it's way through an automatic car wash. He didn't exactly remember how many washes it went through but he makes an effort to find a touchless wash if available. Fast forward a year later and I get a text from him, "i'll be in town next weekend with the S2000, can you detail it?" What's family for right? So I made plans to fit his car in. We discussed what we would do with the car for correction and as for protection, we decided on a ceramic coating by CQuartz.
Exterior
Car was washed, decontaminated with IronX and clayed. We started off the exterior by correcting his headlights. I used my PC7424 with Lake Country Thin Pro grey pad and McKee's 37 All In One Headlight Polish. Headlights were then sealed with Meguiars Keep Clear Headlight Coating.
Before
After
Moving onto the paint, car was corrected with Makita PO5000C on forced rotation mode using Lake Country Hybrid Orange Pad with Jescar Correcting Compound and Lake Country Hybrid White Pad with Jescar Micro Finishing Polish. The smaller and tighter areas I used the same compound and polishes but with my PC 7424 and Lake Country Thin Pro pads orange and white.

Car was all corrected and ready for it's ceramic coating. I laid down 2 coats of CQuartz UK. Here are the finished results.
It was a very fun detail for me, especially working on a red colored car again. My brother was surprised beyond belief, he didn't think the ceramic coating would make the 10 year old paint pop that much. All in all like I said, it was a fun detail for me and being that it was family, no charge other than my brother supplying the CQuartz. Hopefully it was a good read for everyone else and thanks for viewing!
