I normally post full blown correction details but I had to make an exception because this is such a nice car and it came out very nice.

The owner is very busy so he wasn't able to tend to this beautiful vehicle as much as he wanted to. The car hasn't been washed in about 2 months and the wheels haven't been cleaned for a longer time. The wheels were so bad that it made me think that the wheels had a matte finish. As I cleaned it, the shine of the wheels came out!!! In addition, the car is full of bugs up front and heavy dust all over.

Here are the before pictures. As you can see the car is very dusty and the front end / side mirrors have lots of bugs.

The sun's intensity and the paint are flushing out the filth on the paint.

I didn't take pictures of the wash process because we were in a rush. We were washing under the hot desert sun so it was drying the water up real fast.

The headlights looked a little cloudy and the owner was concerned about them. I offered to clear them up using Ultimate Compound with a microfiber applicator pad.

Here's a picture of the headlight before:

Here's a picture of the headlight after polishing it. Came out pretty good and the owner was extremely happy.

Tool and pad of choice for LSP application:

The pad was slightly bigger than the Fuzion tub opening but it was able to fit in. I just blipped the G110v2's switch to get some was on the pad. Here's a picture of this:

This is what a thin coat of wax looks like:

After about 15 minutes, I removed the product. It was very easy to remove and the owner was amazed. Here are some pictures after Fuzion was removed from the entire vehicle:

What do you guys think? Comments and criticisms are welcome!!!

Time: 2 Hours

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Thanks a lot, Mike! I agree this car is stunning!

Trust me, I'm trying to convince the owner to get gold wheels.

Hey Marc,

The sun in Phoenix can be brutal and especially on a cars finish. I'm glad you decided to move things inside as it makes working much easier on you.

That car came out great and when I saw 2 hours I was amazed how nicely it came out so you must have been moving right along....:props:

Looking good!

Thanks, Raiz3l!

no polishing? no swirls? he must kept it really nice. good work.

Thanks dorkiedoode. There are some swirls but we both didn't have time to do a full blown correction. He just wanted to have a coat of wax for the summer.

Thank you for the compliments, Bobby! The owner helped me dry the car and remove the wax residue so it sped things up a little bit. Having a garage is a requirement for me when I do a mobile job. I can't imagine working under the sun. Not only will it make the products ineffective but it will weaken and burn you up.

Marc, great work! But I agree, it needs gold wheels! I love my JDM STi V7 wheels on my black WRX.

I see this is also the car you did an Ultima waterless wash on and it came out nice then too!

What do you think of the Deep Crystal Wash? I have been using it for years and for the price I really like it. I use all kinds of AG high-end shampoos but still keep the Deep Crystal in the rotation.

Thanks so much, Drew!

He was actually interested in the gold Volk Racing wheels I have on my car but it's only 17". He doesn't want to go -1 from stock. I'm really trying to convince him to get gold wheels. Maybe at least have the stock ones powder coated gold. :D I'll show him this thread to have more peer pressure on him LOL!

I'm glad you brought that up. Yes this is the same car used for my UWW+ review and that was the last time it was washed. It hasn't been washed ever since so there was a very thick layer of dust/dirt and the bugs were baked on. It's sad to see such a nice car in that condition but the owner is extremely busy.

I really like the deep crystal car wash. When I first started getting into detailing (not the OCD type we now have; before finding AGO), this was my shampoo of choice and you can't beat it for the money. I also use this shampoo on rotation with my others but I always use this when I'm washing my wheels. I love this stuff. For me, a shampoo is a shampoo and this works extremely well. It foams up superbly too. What do you think of this product?

I actually have the same story as you. Deep Crystal was my main/only shampoo before I got heavy into detailing. Now I always use it in my wheel bucket and sometimes for paint.

Nice smell, and it has really good sheeting action on paint. Great price and it has never let me down. One time I switched to Turtle Wax Ice Shampoo and it was double the price and not nearly as good. I went right back to Deep Crystal!

Looks good Marc! Love the blue but you should have really used SSII:laughing::joking:

Still got that sample with your name on it:xyxthumbs:

WRB looks nice in the sun. Fuzion is easy to apply and remove huh.
