Detailed: Audi Allroad, ready for the winter.

Hey guys and girls

This weekend have I been detailing my own car, I started on friday, and are finished tomorrow (monday). But I will start posting now! This time I took my time, and set off all the weekend for the car. Top from bottom was going to be detailed.

The car is in good shape, so no need for strong polish. It was no swirls on it. No before pics, because the car wasen`t bad.

Lets see what I have used.

Wash

Two buckets, mitt and optimum soap
P21S wheel cleaner and ez brush
Clayed with riccardo clay

Paint:
First DG 501 with white CCS pad on the PC speed 3, let it sit on for about 4 hours, then buffed off. Cured over night.
Saturday: DG 105 by hand on all paint and glass.
DG 105 in door jams and all paint inside.
Pinnacle sig series ll Tomorrow.

Exterior

Optimum tire dressing on tires
DG 501 on rims
Black again on all trim
Surf city metal polish on all metal
303 protecant on all plastic (bumpers etc)

Interior:

vaccumed
Wolfgang spot remover on mats and upholstry
Optimum protecant on vinyl
Stoners on windows
Pinnacle leather dressing on seats.

Great job Pirex. That is some awesome work and I love how you just blocked off the whole weekend to dedicate to the car. I really like the DG 501 and think it is a hidden gem. I would assume you agree with that. One question for you, Is the riccardo clay everything I see everyone raving about?

Pirex..great job, man! It's great to get to do your own once in a while, eh? I love how the exterior trim shows up so black against the colour of the car. I couldn't help notice you've got a couple of m/c's in the back..we share the same addictions I think!

wolfpacker92: Thanks wolf! Yeah, it was great to use all weekend, just get up from bed, and go down to the garage! Its just like vacation I got to agree on you with the 501, its a very good product! Cleans up the paint, and give it a SLICK feeling and very reflective. Topped with 105 its amazing. Can`t wait to put on some wax. Riccardo clay? I have just used it two times now, but i really like it. Its so easy to work with, but still have a nice bite. Like pinnacle poly, but stronger and maybe a bit softer.

richy: Thank you richy! Its very nice, it always comes last in the line! Yes, I love Mc`s Nothing is like summer, sun and driving around on two wheels! Its a amazing feeling, all the good smells etc.
