Detailed Jeep

My daughters boyfriend was nice enough to paint one of our rooms a few weeks ago. Since I didn't have to do it I had to show him how much I appreciated it.
It was an old work Jeep that needed a little attention.
The body was clear coat but the top was a single stage.
The top I used
Meguires 7 glaze and topped with klassie sealant. I let the glaze sit for a few hours while I worked on the rest of the body.
The body I used
Meguires ultimate compound with a 7in wooly
Applied klassie with an LC pink pad.
I used the glaze on the bumpers also.

Quite a difference in the before and after shots and the results are nothing less than spectacular! rops:

Because of their design, Jeep Wrangles in my opinion are one of the toughest, time consuming vehicles to detail......my opinion of course!

This was my first Jeep and they are a challenge. The fenders weren't really a problem because of the forced rotation of my flex kept the pad moving. All the small areas were the biggest challenge for me.
He was very excited about how it turned out because I didn't let him see it during the process. He did earn it though, the room was painted black and red for my son when was a Miami Heat fan. It took two coats of primer and two coats of paint. So all in all I think it was a fair deal
