Thanks for watching...
Comments would be highly appreciated... :buffing:

work is excellent, you got a little late on taking the pictures, a little extra sunlight would have shown even better reflections

Nice work Imran. Yours or clients? Should top with lsp at least with gold class or #26.

Btw Imran margallar I need a lil advice. hv u ever tried wet sanding on bumpers like u do on body (start with some paint fillings followed by 2k n end with finishing grit, apply compound with DA to remove sanding marks n gloss it all up) will this procedure work on bumpers as well?

I think that you'll get where you want to be by using a rotary - smaller bp and pads, just watch your speed and temps.

Are you guys using foamed wool on the da?

I don't have a rotary but my DA was able to remove 2000 grit sand marks with 105 on hybrid pad n 205 on CCS.
What u reckon would be best speed for DA on bumpers?

I don't think that heat will be an issue with the da unless you are reckless. The issue may be the elastic nature of bumper paint. I've had good results removing wetsanding marks with a da on bumpers...just prefer to use the rotary here.

Which da is your tool of choice?

I have used Megs, Optimum, 3M, Menzs, AM on foam and wool blend.
Personally, I try to stay away from wetsanding customer vehicles nowadays.
Most just won't pay accordingly.
You seem to have better clientele than I.

damn, im the only one left without a good machine:(, i guess i should trash the idea of the meguiars DA power system and get a proper DA like a porter cable or meguiars g110v2:xyxthumbs:

@highroller, i guess the same technique should apply to the bumpers, btw do you live in lahore?

Wow. I'm a fan WG n menzs myself.
Clientele? Hahaha. No man, none.
I do it for my pleasure on my cars n for my friends(compensation being bear and pizza) :)
I agree with u wetsanding doesn't pay according for the effort goes into it.

plus it is risky wetsanding original paint jobs, they are often too thin, not to mention we often have little knowledge of what abuse it has been through, not everyone is so careful about their car

Hey buddy, yes I live in lhr but last 4-5 years I lived in Montreal. Currently I'm in Calgary and heading to Vancouver.
I would prefer PC any day over megs DA.
If u do not plan on offerin pro detailing services I would suggest not to invest so much. It is a never ending keera that goes deeper n deeper day by day n gets heavy on wallet too. Just take ur ride to mobil1 in defence get it detailed n maintain it on ur own. Or what I can offer is bring ur ride to my place when I'll b back and knock yourself out with my DA :p

I would disagree with u here buddy. Modern coats r thick enough even in pak. Wetsanding is risky when u do some pretty old classic cars with single coats, which is rare in pak.
