Detailers QD crumbled meguiars clay

I have a lot of the Detailers QD spray so I used it as a lubricant to clay my wheels (chrome clad). The meguiars clay bar I have was crumbling pretty bad. So, I tried using my pinnacle ultra clay bar and it didnt do it (as bad). Is it the spray doing this? I wouldnt normally use it as a lube cause its foamy. I just have a lot like I said. The wheels came out GREAT by the way , so im not complaining.

some qd are good for using as a clay lube, others are not. typically anything with a solvent in it should not be used with clay as it will degrade it. if all else fails, use something dedicated for claying.
